All hotels are tourist class and are located directly at the Way of St. James or very near to. Depending on availability you may also be accommodated in good hostals, pensions or country houses ("casas rurales") which in quality are at least equal to the corresponding hotel. All rooms have private bath/shower and toilet. All prices are per person in a double room. For single room supplement see below.
Your luggage (guideline: 1 suitcase/rucksack of max. 20 kg per person) will be transported from hotel to hotel, so you do not have to carry a heavy weight during the Way.
Your travel documents will be awaiting you at your hotel. It includes your "Credencial" (Pilgrim's Passport), labels for your luggage, your travel insurance and a 24h emergency telephone number.
For a supplement you may also add dinner in all the hotels. The menu usually consists of 2 dishes, bread, wine, water, and dessert. All hotels offer good regional cooking.
In Santiago de Compostela you will stay in a 3* hotel with central location very close to the cathedral. If you wish, you can of course book additional nights.
From Santiago, you will start your return trip on your own. Or, maybe you wish to make also the last part of the Way of St. James: from Santiago to Fisterra or a Day Trip to Fisterra.
You may additionally book a comfortable private transfer:
- From Santiago Airport to your hotel in Cebreiro.
- From Santiago de Compostela to your hotel in Cebreiro.
Please do not hesitate to consult how to get to Cebreiro (e.g. from Barcelona or Madrid Airport). Transport can be organized for you as well as eventually necessary additional overnight stays in Madrid or another city.
