COSTA DE ALMERIA: How to get there |
| | |
By plane: The best is to look for flights to the airport of Almeria (LEI), from here all the beach resorts can be easily accessed: Almería (10 km.), Adra (77 km.), Almerimar (63 km.), Roquetas de Mar (41 km.), Aguadulce (39 km.) and Vera (78 km.). Depending on where you live, you may have to make a connection in Madrid.
Here you find cheap flights to Almeria by all major airlines and low cost carriers. |
By car: All the beaches and resorts along the Coast of Almeria can be easily accessed by car. Almeria itself as well as Vera, Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, El Ejido (which is 10 kilometers from Almerimar) and Adra are located directly along the highway Autovía del Mediterráneo (A-7), which leads from France to Algeciras. It is recommended that you rent a car already before beginning your travel, as at the airport you may be charged considerably more. Here you find car rentals at very low rates. |
By train: There are direct connections to Almeria from Granada, Seville and Madrid. From Almeria there are no trains to the beach resorts, but they can be accessed by bus. |
