About 10 kilometers from Almeria we reach the resort Aguadulce via a spectacular coastal road that runs along the cliffs by several tunnels. Aguadulce itself offers a beautiful sandy beach, ideal to enjoy the sun which is shining here almost all the year.The beach of Aguadulce, with dark sand and crystal clear water is about 2500 meters long and 30 meters wide. It received the "Blue Flag" award, because of the high water quality and the excellent facilities. There is also a special access for disabled available. The two hotels are located right by the sea. During the summer season the beach and the beach bars, the "Chiringuitos" where you can refresh yourself with cool drinks and try these typical local snacks, the "tapas", offer a quite lively atmosphere. The beach promenade which is surrounded by palms invites to have a stroll by the sea or to sit down in one of the numerous terrace-bars, where you can enjoy regional specialties. The Marina of Aguadulce is one of the best on the entire Coast of Almeria, you will also find restaurants, pubs, and it is considered the center of nightlife in Aguadulce. Aguadulce is also an ideal starting point for excursions to explore the whole coast. It is just 5 kilometers from Roquetas de Mar, 10 kilometers from Almeria and 20 kilometers from the natural reserve "Cabo de Gata"  . |
