COSTA BRAVA: How to get there |

By plane:
The airport of Girona (GRO) is located at the heart of the Costa Brava, from here the beach resorts can be easily accessed. The distances are: Girona: 17 km., Lloret de Mar: 31 km., Tossa de Mar: 42 km.
The next airport is the Airport of Barcelona (BCN) located at: 93 km. from Lloret de Mar, 104 km. from Tossa de Mar and 117 km. from Girona.
Here you find cheap flights to Barcelona by all major airlines and low cost carriers.

By car:
The Costa Brava is located directly at the highway Autovia del Mediterraneo (A-7), which passes close to all the holiday resorts such as Lloret de Mar or Tossa de Mar. The coastal towns are linked inbetween them by regional roads.
It is recommended that you rent a car already before beginning your travel, as at the airport you may be charged considerably more. Here you find car rentals at very low rates. |
By train:
There are direct trains from Girona to Barcelona, Madrid and all other important towns along the Spanish Mediterranean coast. There are as well direct connections to Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier, Limoges, Orleans, Paris, Geneve, Zurich, Turin and Milan.
Lloret and Tossa de Mar however can not be reached by train, but just by car or bus. |
